We got a new leak which tells us a little bit more about the up and coming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus camera specs which is a little bit confusing about what to expect when the device finally gets released. Based on the new information from South Korea, the non “Plus” Galaxy Note 20 will sport a 12 Megapixel main sensor with a 64 Megapixel telephoto module and then a 12 Megapixel sensor using an Ultra-wide lens. While the bigger Galaxy Note 20 Plus will have a 108 Megapixel sensor with a 12 Megapixel telephoto and then the normal 12 Megapixel wide-angle lens with lase autofocus system.

So you might ask what is confusing about the aforementioned specs right. Here is it, the Note series are usually a cranked-up model of the Galaxy smartphone product line which means we should expect a much better photography experience on the upcoming device right. But what do you say about the 12 Megapixel telephoto camera on the Note 20+ which is supposed to be the peak after there have have been rumors about the device sporting a periscope lens.

Aside that, there are also other confusions in a recent leak which showcased a periscope camera on the smaller Galaxy Note 20 then followed by a high-resolution renders of the Galaxy Note 20 Plus suggesting a square periscope module will be presented on the back of the device. But the specs we listed above based on new leaks doesn’t mention anything about periscope sensor.

But this isn’t the end yet because we’re still months away from the actual release of the device itself so there is enough time for more researches and leaks before the release. But the fact that this is a Note-series mean it will always be like a tweak to the previous S series and with rumored specs such as a laser autofocus module, that might make sense. In fact, it’s possible the recent contradictory leaks are simply based on different prototypes Samsung had manufactured while still deciding on the exact camera configuration of the Galaxy Note 20 and its Plus-sized counterpart.
