It’s that time of the year when tech companies debut all their products leading to MKBHD calling it the “Techtober“.
Anyway, apart from the recent iPhone 14 series’ debut, another device we’re expecting in the high-end area is Google Pixel 7 series which is expected to debut in India very soon according to popular Indian e-retail company, Flipkart.
Apart from India, the news is also the same across the world. The reason why this release is significant is due to the fact that Google has stopped releasing its high-end Pixel smartphones in India since Pixel 3 series.
So an official release of devices such as the Pixel 4, Pixel 5, and even the latest Pixel 6 series excluded India. However, Google released only its affordable A-series such as the Pixel 3a, Pixel4a, and then the Pixel 6a in the country,
But Flipkart has now confirmed that the new high-end Pixel 7 series will in fact debut in India for the first time since 2018.
The news is trustworthy because Flipkart has been the online retail partner for Google for all of its Pixel launches in India. So if they’re saying this, that means Google is actually bringing the device to the country.
Requests for comments from Google India have been ineffective and Google has been unable to confirm Flipkart’s claims. But we hope all these are true in the end.
