Aside appointing Wei Xialong as the new Product Manager for the Honor Play 4T series, there have been other interesting news and rumors surrounding the release of the smartphone for some times now.
One interesting thing is the selfie which the aforementioned executive posted online on his Weibo account which showed the back of a new smartphone which sort of confirmed some rumors and design renders of the Honor Play 4T series.


The posted image upon being zoomed closely showed some not so clear back of a smartphone alleged to being the Honor Play 4T/Pro.
The device is thought to follow Huawei and other Honor’s rear camera arrangement this year which had been a rectangular setup just as seen on the P40 Pro series.

Although this picture does not reveal anything about the phone, we already know some of its specs from previous leaks and official teaser renders.
There is thought to be a Pro version of the device which will be different from the normal model. The Play 4T is expected to sport a 6.39-inch HD+ IPS LCD hole-punch display with a rear fingerprint scanner while the Pro model is expected to come with a dew-drop notch on it’s 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED panel with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Other interesting features of the device includes the Kirin 820 5G chipset which also powered up the Honor 30s. Aside that, the standard model will be powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. Both devices will come in 6GB + 128GB configuration but the standard version will also be available in 4GB + 64GB in addition to 6GB + 256GB configuration of the Pro model.1Â of 2Â Â
Both models are said to be powered by a 4000mAh power but the Pro model will get a 22.5W fast charging support. In the camera department, the Honor Play 4T is expected to come with a dual setup which includes a 48MP + 2MP sensors while the Pro model will have triple setup which consists of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP but both devices will feature a 16MP front facing sensor.
