Kia Sedona (or Kia carnival) is a cute minivan manufactured and marketed by Kia Motors and it’s sold all around the globe. Back in the 1998 when the first production was released to the public. The nice ride featured beautiful look and feel making driving in luxury a thing of reality. Although featuring a powerful handling and other stuffs, the vehicle has a slower acceleration which one could feel is part of Kia’s strategy to “Have a real family mininvan?”
With its v6 engine, the vehicle which is said to be sloppy in handling could still reach for the stars with its six-speed automatic transmission. Critics report that the Sedona has clumsy handling, even for a minivan. They write that the Sedona’s brakes could be stronger and its steering feels unresponsive. Some say the Sedona rides uncomfortably as well, though others think it has a smooth ride. Yet, with its top speed of 122MPH,  this Minivan also features 276 HP.

Short History

The 2015 model debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show in April. Kia refers to the third generation Sedona as a Multi-Purpose Vehicle rather than a Minivan, in order to attract more customers to the brand and vehicle. For South Korean markets, it’s available only with the 2.2L diesel engine. In the U.S., the Sedona was previously only available in LX or EX models.
