You might be thinking ZTE has lost it’s relevance but you’re wrong in many ways as the company continues to release nice smartphones every now and then. One of their mid-ranger is the new a1 ZTG01 5G which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G in Japan.
The company which seems to be more 5G focused had continued the pursuit after first releasing the Axon 115G as it’s first 5G smartphone. The newly developed smartphone debuted on a Japanese carrier website au. The device is on reservation on the carrier’s website but the price is yet to be revealed.Â
Featuring a nice 6.5-Inch LCD FHD+ Display as well as a 32-MP hole-punch selfie camera right at the front of the device.
The Qualcomm’s mid range Snapdragon 765G powered this device up making it a true powerhouse for it’s range.

The phone is a premium mid-ranger as it packs support for 5G connectivity which is probably why it is being introduced in Japan. The processor is paired with 6GB RAM while there is a 128GB storage that can be expanded up to 1TB.
And more of the specification includes the quad-camera setup at the back of the device which is arranged just as those on the Axon 11 5G and the setup consists of a 48MP main sensor as well as an 8MP, 2MP and then a ToF sensor.
The phone packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, is a 4000mAh battery while the phone gest its interface from an Android 10 operating system. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.
ZTE a1 ZTG01Â will be released sometime in July. The phone comes in black color only and global release isn’t well known just yet but let’s wait and see.
