Ulefone, the rugged smartphone maker has unveiled the capacity of its new device the Armor 12 5G which was launched a couple of weeks back. The device has some pretty cool specifications despite being a rugged device all at a reasonable price point. One of such includes its display and its Dual Hi-Fi Speaker and Headset-free FM radio.
Usually, smartphones that have radio often make use of the headphone jack as the antenna but Ulefone saw this as a challenge they needed to fix and in all honesty, while I’m not often a big fan of first-generation products, they sort of nailed this well enough.
So apart from the Armor 12 5G being a rugged device that can withstand some really harsh realities of life, the device still comes with other cool features that make it really useful in the day-to-day life of anyone that owns it which is part of what I find interesting about the device.
Ulefone also released a video of the device which was compared with an iPhone to showcase the latter’s sound inferiority compared to the Ulefone Armor 12 5G.

For technical clarifications, the smartphone comes with dual 1216 superlinear speakers which are symmetrically located inside a 1.6cc-equivalent super large sound cavity. Speakers offer up to 0.65mm sound amplitude with 7 magnetic sound units and have maximum loudness of up to 110db.
It aggressively competes against the iPhone while playing music, games, and videos. Ulefone Armor 12 5G offers original sound with a high sound reproduction mechanism.
Another aspect where the Armor 12 5G excelled even over other Ulefone devices is the handsfree FM radio feature which I mentioned earlier. With this improvement, you’ll be able to make use of the FM radio without the need to plug in your earphones.
I personally find this useful especially in a world where the 3.5mm headphone is becoming an option rather than being the main part of smartphone hardware. There are of course other cool specs of the device such as a long-lasting battery and its protective shield for heavy-duty usage.
