RealMe announces a number of smart products and among them is the RealMe X50 Pro Player Edition which is an attempt by the Chinese company to trying to enter into the gaming smartphone business. While the X50 Pro Player Edition doesn’t look like a typical gaming smartphone as we’ve seen with devices like the Nubian 5G Pro, the goal of this device is to provide much more powerful internal hardware and software to boost the gaming capacity of the device altogether.
This is also the new member of the X50 series of smartphones with 5G capability and at a really affordable price point. And speaking of gaming experience, the X50 Pro Player Edition has some really cool specifications which makes it really interesting.

Specs of RealMe X50 Pro Player Edition
The new device sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10+ and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with a 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS3.0 internal storage…maybe all of that is getting too technical for you to comprehend, the fact is that the device is very powerful and works really fast.

Aside the speed, the RealMe X50 pro Player Edition has a quad rear camera setup with the main sensor being a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and then coupled with a 8MP ultrawide sensor and the rest are two 2MP depth sensor and Macro sensor respectively. As f or the front facing selfie camera, it’s a 16MP and 2MP sensor which resides in a pill-notch on the top left side of the display.

Now let’s talk about the gaming experience which is the main point of the smartphone anyway. It has a HyperBoost 3.0 which is used to enhance the gaming experience of the RealMe X50 Pro PE and it also feature a tactile vibrator for subtle vibration which gives feedback while playing games just like those professional game consoles. It also has Graphite sheets which are used between the battery and the back panel in order to keep things cooled down while you’re binge-gaming.
Wi-Fi 6, less latency, Dolby Audio and Hi-Res Audio are some important specifications you’ll quickly note about the new device. Playing graphic intense games like PUBG Mobile for example should be breezy thanks to the 90 frame rate display.
Well, there is a not so big 4,200mAh battery but the charging speed is what makes it special. The handset supports 65W fast-charging, which according to the company can charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes.

Pricing of the RealMe X50 Pro PE
The device come in three variations with the base model sporting a 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage costs US$ 434.25 (CNÂ¥ 3,099), 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage costs US$ 476.28 (CNÂ¥ 3,399)and the high-end which is the 12GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage which costs US$ 518.32 (CNÂ¥ 3,699).
