Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Apple all these big OEMs have their own wireless earbuds that they sells and I guess it’a only the Galaxy Buds that looks and feels different from the rest of the pack because Apple’s masterpiece is usually copied by numerous makers which sometimes leads to serious legal battles.
But that’s not the point. Oppo is the company we’re taking about here today as the company teases the launch of t’s Oppo Enco Free, a true wireless earbuds in China for 26th of December as well as it’s smartphones such as the Reno3 and Reno 3 Pro 5G.

Just as usual, the casing of the Oppo Enco Free earbuds looks just like that of the Apple AirPods and sincerely, no one seems to care about the similarities in design of these popular earbuds from big brands any longer.
As for the Enco Free, there is a clear Oppo logo mark on the casing and also the earbuds is a little bit bucky compared to the Apple AirPods which is slightly slimmer. So this could be a move of Oppo to create it’s own ecosystem which other companies are already experimenting with nowadays.
As for the Enco Free, there’s a strip area on the frosted case at the front with radium carving. It carries OPPO branding, continuing the design trend that the company adopted with the Reno series of smartphones.

On the casing of the New Oppo Enco Free Earbuds is an LED indicator that alerts you the status of the ear buds. It also has some function keys on it’s right side while the USB Type-C is located at the bottom just as we have it o the Apple AirPods. Reports has it that the company will ship the earbuds with three silicone tips of different sizes, so users can switch to the one that provides the best fit.
As for the dual earbuds themselves, the body design has nice matte finish and it also feature noise reduction functionality as well as pressure relief hole right inside the earphone itself. It also carries the iconic grey-colored strip at the back of the earbuds. It doesn’t entirely look like the AirPods actually just hat it seems to borrow some of it’s design concept from it.

Oppo has also revealed in a recent event at Malaysia where the company revealed that the Enco Free will use AI uplink noise cancellation technology. Also it has the now popular wear detection which auto-pause and resumes playback whenever you take it off or put it right back into your ear. Also it has about 5 hours of battery life and with the casing, the entire device can last a whooping 25 hours even though that’s just a saying from the company as we’re yet to confirm how true those claims really are.
As for the pricing, the Oppo Enco Free will be sold for 499 Malaysian Ringgit (approx. US$ 120, NG₦ 43,500, SAR 1,600) in the Malaysian market when it goes on sale from January 2020. As said, the earbuds are scheduled to launch in China tomorrow.
