One of the many things I’ve come to like about Chinese smartphones, especially the smaller brand is how easily they often blend the looks of their devices like those of their competitors while offering them to their budget-friendly customers.
That’s the case with the new Gionee F3 Pro, a company known for its notorious copy of other brands such as Apple’s iPhone. The device is basically a blend of the iPhone 13 and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
The device might be the only smartphone in 2023 to sport a notch. I really don’t know what the Gionee executives were thinking but that seems backward in my opinion.
However, the part of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is where they sort o redeemed themselves.. The device ahs a tiny rear display as seen in the aforementioned Xiaomi device which gives it the nice premium look and feel.

The device has a flattened frame body and it has the same iPhone 13’s triple camera arrangement whileto the far right is tiny secondary display.
The secondary display which in my opinion is jut a gimmick except it is useful when taking photos from the back camera seems useless too on this device. It shows device’s notifications and message alerts. Most people already have the gigantic display to handle that so why the need for a tiny back display.
As for the secs, the device sports aa UISOC T610 chipset which is paried with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s Android version is unknown….don’t laugh out loud like I did when I saw that.
As for the camera, the device has a 21MP primary sensor and a 5MP front-facing sensor while its battery is a low-tier 3,900mAh Li-Po battery and can be charged by up to 10W.
Pricing of the Gionee F3 Pro is around CNÂ¥1,399 (~US$205) and it is already up for sale in China…why am I not surprised. It comes in gold, blue, and black color options.
