Samsung had issues with it’s high-end folding smartphone, the Galaxy Fold which had been the reaosn for a long delayed release. Meanwhile, the device was officially sold in South Korea with Chinese buying the device which made it super expensive.
The good news here is that the device will be released in China eventually on the 8th of this month of November. The redesigned Galaxy Fold is now available even far beyond the borders of it’s home country. On Weibo, Samsung posted “The Galaxy Fold is here. It is unlike any other mobile device. We have changed people’s perception of smartphones for future generations to come. Ingenuity arrives on November 8.”
The Galaxy Fold had been sold in India, US and of course, South Korea but it’s missing in China. But the new release might see the pricing of the device to be around $2,120 (CNY 14,999) even though there isn’t anything official about the pricing just yet.
About 500,0000 units of the Galaxy Fold is said to have already been sold globally. The device would likely run out of stock considering the China launch even though the Huawei’s own Mate X was launched in October and slightly more pricey at $2,414 (CNY 16,999)

And speaking of the Galaxy Fold, the device has a triple display with an inner Dynamic AMOLED foldable panel which turns the device to a massive 7.3-inch display. The device is also powered by an Octa-Core snapdragon 855 SoC with an Adreno 640 GPY.
It has 12GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It also has a massive 5,380mAh of battery with a fast charging capacity. The 5G edition of the device has 4,235mAh battery.
The Galaxy Fold uses a six-camera setup. The smartphone has one triple camera setup at the rear and another upfront. The rear cameras include a 16-megapixel lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an aperture rating of f/2.2 and a 12=megapixel telephoto sensor. The primary selfie camera uses a 10-megapixel lens while two additional sensors of 10-megapixel and an 8-megapixel are placed above the foldable display.
