The successful landing of the NASA Perseverance rover on Mars earlier this year has opened the door to the first man-made helicopter to be flown on the red planet. The NASA Ingenuity Helicopter will commence its own mission and fly above the red planet’s surface which is obviously great achievement for the human race as well as the inter-planetary ambition of the homo sapiens specie.
By April 14th, NASA will attempt to fly the Ingenuity Helicopter for the first time and will be captured by the Perseverance’s camera as it watches the helicopter which it carried underneath its belly since its journey from Earth many months back.
Below are some cool pictures of the NASA Ingenuity Helicopter from its inception to its release from underneath the Perseverance Rover on Mars.

1. Ingenuity on Mars
NASA Ingenuity helicopter has four legs that extend out of its body to support its weight and balance. The helicopter was hidden in the belly of the Perseverance rover and was recently released so it can commence its own mission on the Red Planet.
