We somehow got our hands on the Honor 9X and the 9X Pro and it was a great Android smartphone. We’re in fact done with the review and we’ll publish it soon. Meanwhile, Honor is moving the device unit to Europe because though it’s been released, it’s not yet released all around the entire global market (Minus US and some other countries because Honor is owned by Huawei).
Anyway, the Honor 9X Pro will be shipped to Europe and will be different from it’s Chinese counterpart. According to Sudhanshu Ambhore who made this revelation, stated that there will be some difference both in hardware and software of the Honor 9X to be shipped to Europe. For example the repositioning of the Fingerprint Scanner which is on the side of the Chinese model is expected to now be at the back of the European model.
According to GizmoChina, there isn’t any official statement as to why these changes are being made. Also, the changes which mainly is the change of positioning in the Fingerprint sensor.
Other than the change in the position of the fingerprint scanner, we have not learned of any other differences. Based on that, the Honor 9X Pro should arrive in Europe with a 6.59-inch FHD+ display, a 16MP pop-up selfie camera, and a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup.

Powering up the device is the same Kirin 810 processor with 8GB of RAM for the highest model because there is also a 6GB RAM model with 128GB while the former has 256GB of storage.
Other features are a 4000mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.0, an audio jack, and EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The press renders show the phone will be available in Magic Night Black and Phantom Purple.
As for the date the device will be eventually shipped out, nothing is yet official as of now but we think Honor might send out the device in few weeks time considering the time of the year. Another thing is that the predecessor of this device, the Honor 8X was the biggest of all Honor phones so far as it blew wide last year when it was launched.
