Have you ever imagined yourself becoming an astronaut eventually or wished you’d be one? Do you think it might be a tough or very boring in fact considering those excessive time wasted you might wanna think twice but whatever the case may be, Astronaut Scott Kelly wouldn’t be making that a too much sentiment for you. As the 300th day out there clucks up, it was actually a celebration galore in the space. Yeah!!! Party time ain’t it?
Anyway, Scott Kelly has been out there for about 300 days now and that mission is actually coming to it’s end very soon. To pass the time, he’s haunted by the station’s hallways in a spooky mask, eaten space lettuce and his grown Zinnias…those still aren’t very interesting for a nice celebration but still, he ain’t giving up though.
Well, Scott Kelly thus would try to amuse you at least to make the space mission quiet interesting and so he had decided to play “Water Ping Long” as if its a magic, he plays the tiny glob of water between two hydrophobic paddles. That might make you reconsider.
Well, still that might make you yawn after starring at the same action for an hour better still, Scott Kelly had gotten himself justified…He’s just doing his job!
It’s a toned down version of Kelly compared to the excitement we see on his Twitter and Instagram accounts and, to the untrained eye, Scott Kelly appears to be bored out of his astronaut mind.

Do you get to remember the old Tom And Jerry against the martians? Then you might just have wished to see some of them as Earthlings fantasizes of actually going out there to visit the beautiful space. Well, that might not be very interesting with the case of Scott Kelly who goes out there almost daily since 300 days ago right in the International Space Station.
Do you remember Scott’s one time video about his space experience which was actually viewed by people and others alike, well it might kinda still try making you feel a little happy for the scientists but what’s more, even though this video seems goofy and dull, there’s a lot that can be gleaned from it — both by NASA and by viewers like you and me.
The paddles Kelly’s using were laser-etched and then sprayed with Teflon. The etching roughed up the surface enough that, when combined with the Teflon, the material became quite excellent at repelling water.
Considering that last week’s spacewalk was cut short due to a water leak in one of the astronaut’s helmets, it’s probably a good thing that Kelly had some time to experiment with this material today.
Experiment here and there. The actual video was just the experiments of some kinds.
NASA sent a RED Epic camera up to the ISS last year and has been using it to film all sorts of things, both for the web and for its new 4K television channel. This push from NASA to film even the most mundane activities in 4K has been a welcome one, because for the first time it really feels like you can get a sense of how big the space station is, and what it must be like to be there.
