Samsung is set to be launching another flagship tablet which is going to sport a quite bigger display size compare to those we’ve been seeing in the past. There are rumors that the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are both expected to be among the numerous devices Samsung will be announcing this coming month (including Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2).

Based on speculations, reports and leaks, the Galaxy Tab S7 series is said to sport an 11-inch and 12.4-inch displays respectively which quite different from the previous 10.1-inch display sizes in former models. And with that size, one can argue that the South Korean tech giant is aiming at the iPad Pro.

According to reports from different sources, the base model of the Galaxy Tab S7 is said to be missing the in-display fingerprint sensor functionality just as we’ve seen in the previous Galaxy Tab S5e. So the Galaxy Tab S7 will have it’s fingerprint reader right along with the power button which isn’t very bad for real.

Not bad because the speed and accuracy of real external fingerprint scanners are usually much better than the more fancier in-display fingerprint sensors which is usually based on the utilization of an OLED display which light can pass through whereby a camera is placed directly underneath the display to capture fingerprint but the accuracy and speed can’t match the physical ones for real.

But then moving on to the high-end Galaxy Tab S7+, it’s likely hat the device will feature the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which Samsung has been using in a number of it’s high-end flagships including the Galaxy S20 series.

Even though there hasn’t been anything official about the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ devices just yet, the device being a true flagship tablet meant they will sport the highest of the highest specifications to make up for that.

As reports has it, they both should come with the latest Snapdragon 865+ chipset as well as support for the S-Pen as well as official keyboard accessories but we wouldn’t know if Samsung too would be offering it’s own official keyboard as a separate add-on or sold together which will in turn increase the pricing of the device drastically.

Powering up the Galaxy Tab S7, rumors also has it that the high-end model will be powered by a 10,090 mAh battery while the base model will have a 7,700 – 7,800 mAh battery capacity while supporting a fast charging at 45Watt.

There is also possibility of 5G connectivity on the device as well as sporting the AMOLED display with a quad AKG-tuned speakers which is meant to enhance the audio experience of the devices. Other rumors of the Galaxy Tab S7 series includes the design but nothing is being said about the pricing just yet but we might just have tot wait till next month when the company will officially bring both devices out to the public.
