Earlier on this year, Samsung released the Galaxy M31 which was a mid-range smartphone and the first in the series with a quad rear camera setup whose main sensor is a 64MP. There had in fact been a development about the release date of the next update of the device which is the Galaxy M31s planned to be released later on this July.

While that is on the go, Samsung is working on rolling out the July 2020 security patches for the Galaxy M31 with the build M31FXXU1ATG2 and the update will bring on the RCS support for Vodafone Idea as well as Glance which is a content-driven lockscreen wallpaper service that promotes stories from the internet.

Samsung alongside other big tech companies are now ensuring that their mid-range smartphones are becoming very usable and packed with interesting features which is exactly what people needs. The Galaxy M31 for example sports a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and ever since it’s initial release had gotten a number of updates.

While the device seems to have some cool feat to it, there is definitely some hiccup here and there on the device which includes some features added to each of the upgrade and those could at some point affect the capacity of the device in it’s entirety.

The inclusion of advertisements might just not be good inclusion for a device from such a big gcompany but the good thing is that they can be disabled. I’m talking about the inclusion of the services such as the Discover in the app drawer as well as the Glance addition all which could have impacts on the device’s CPU and battery life.

The capability of the Exynos 9611 chipset had been under numerous debates whether the CPU is as powerful as those from the Qualcomm or not. But the most notable thing about the Galaxy M31 while the previous updates were rolled out was the lag which started showing on the device made me wonder how long the device can be used before it starts lagging behind in its capacity.
