Facebook messenger users will be able to find Dropbox inside the App’s extensions menu. The news came out about the new integration between the two tech giants. This new functionality will be integrated on both the Android and IOS applications for the FB Messenger.
While this becomes a reality, one can be able to send photos, videos and other important files to whoever you are chatting with. In any case you send a photo, a video, a gif image, there will be a preview inline; for any other type of file, you’ll have to jump out to Dropbox itself.
A convenient way to send files is the new integration between the Facebook Messenger and Dropbox
Dropbox will be a great opinion as the integration will help FB Messenger users. As easy as possible, you won’t need to minimize your Messenger app no more to get a lunk in other to send a file to a buddy you are chatting with. So as easy as possible, you can just use the integrated functionality.
As the day gets clearer, there will be more news about the integration as the annual F8 Developer conference of Facebook will kick off and messaging is a very important part of the company’s focus.
While chatbots will likely be the highlight of the event, it wouldn’t be surprising if new integrations are announced, too. We’ve already seen some big names pop up over the past month, including Spotify and Lyft.
