#LG unleashes its OLED #foldable screen device eventually at the Consumers Electronic Show this week.
The 18 inches device is said to have being initially said to be developed by the big Korean manufacturer back in the 2014.
Although this won’t be the first of its kind since the likes of Sony, Samsung have being doing the same in recent years, But it does indicate that LG sees these types of futuristic displays as differentiation points for smartphones, tablets, and TVs. LG envisions these types of screens rolling up into our pockets or being made to wrap around interior spaces, and the company will show off a 25-inch curved screen installed on the inside of a car at its Auto Zone section on the show floor.
The nice device according to LG is said to be rollable, curvable and can jut be in your hand just like a real newspaper. As thin as possible, this device features lots of powerful features which had made LG to be able to convince its loyal users of what they can do with the OLED technology.
As technology grow bigger, we hope to see more if this devices circulating in the market as it would bridge many gaps of device incompatibility with the real emulation of real newspapers with other interesting stuffs to follow.
