The iPad is a very significant tablet. Like it or not, this is a massively powerful device you want to get a hold of. The Apple iPad can be used for presentation and a whole bunch of things. And with the latest support for keyboard and rumored report about having support for mouse, then this is the device you want to get.
But to spice things up, we’ve collected a list of amazing software and applications that you can use as a professional business person or even if you’re tech person or a designer or developer. The iPad is like all you need to conquer the world of business.

The Microsoft Office isn’t new here and we know how powerful the tool is to modern tech and IT professionals. Tools such as spreadsheets, presentations, Word processors, design tools are all in a one large application.

While the Microsoft Office is a free trial application for Windows users, iPad Pro users will have subscribe to gain full access to all of the features and tools within the software.
While that might be a bad news to some point, the good news is that these application combo is a great All-in-One any IT Professional should have first on their iPad device because it is just all you need to get on the go. There are deals whereby you can get the product for $100 in 12 months since it allows you to install the software on five different device while granting you about 1TB of OneDrive storage and 60 minutes of free Skype Calls…WHOOPS!
2. CODA BY PANIC ($25)
As a web developer, who wouldn’t want to code on the go! That’s why a powerful tool like Coda comes into play. As a Web developer myself, I use The Microsoft Expression Web 4, and that is only limited to Windows PCs. Being able to code even if you’re in the train or simply making a presentation to someone anywhere, this is why the tool is developed.
The software supports every conceivable file formats and also you can work on pages with your website up in Safari simultaneously because it supports split view. Another thing about this tool is that it allows an easy file management and transfer as well as shortcuts which will help speed up the process of writing your codes. In fact, it provides a full featured SSH client.
While the Coda might be a powerful tool, a more simpler tool for blog and or Markdown would be ByWord which is sold for $6 just in case you’d prefer something much more simple without multiple features.
3. PDF EXPERT BY READDLE ($10)

Reading e-Books on the iPad is very great considering the size and glaring interface. But to make things more interesting, if you for example read, edit and annotates your PDFs then this is the best solution to that.
Easily, it’s really easy to use and allows you to highlight text, fill in forms, create notes, and sign documents. You can even replace images and hide sensitive data. It also supports a bunch of different file formats, features integration with the major cloud services, and provides a handy review mode that lets you track changes in a similar fashion to Word.
4. SLACK (FREE)
Slack is a quite popular application for an iPad user and if you’ve not used it, you should try and download it as it’s free. What this tool basically do is connecting you to your team. Despite being a great tool for conservation, using Slack on split-screen support makes it easy to keep in touch with your team while you’re working on something else.It’s handy if a colleague sends you a document as well, since you can view it while continuing to message one another.

If you’ve worked on dual or triple screens in the past or you’re already used to splitting your Windows PC screen to multiple monitors, then this application is like the alternative for iPad users. Duet Display will help you turn your iPad Pro into an extra display for a Mac or PC….which is a really amazing upgrade in technology.
After setting up the application, the iPad will perform just like a second monitor which will give you extra desktop space and make it easier to multi-task. You can also use your iPad Pro as a professional graphics tablet with the Apple Pencil if you splash out for Duet Pro at $25.
6. SCANBOT SCANNER APP (FREE)

What this tool does is to help you scan through documents or QR Codes. The application though free, it’s a very powerful tool with great features. With the Scanbot application, you can generate a great quality PDF and or JPG from any document by merely scanning it.
Scanned documents can be saved straight to your cloud storage such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox and others or even send documents directly as faxes. It also supports filtering scanned documents to enhance readability. The pro version of the Scanbot is just $7 which will allow you to extract texts and even sync between devices with bunch of other features.
7. PIXELMATOR ($5)

Editing photos is now easy with this tool. The Pixelmator comes packed up with templates, filters and tools that is needed to retouch photos, eliminate imperfection and even achieve the look and feel needed which would save the day when you’re on the go. You can as well sketch, paint and design using different range of brushes as well as effects. It’s a classic layer-based image editor, supports a good range of formats, and syncs with iCloud Drive.
Moving forward
As you can see, the iPad Pro is a very useful device here with loads of applications to make it function amazingly. Also do note that there are of course lots of applications on the iTunes but knowing which is best for you as an IT Professional might be a little bit of an hurdle which we’ve helped in solving above.
