There are reports about Google planning to release a new set of affordable TWS earbuds and its like the company’s marketing team or whoever is in charge of their social media handle accidentally leaked a few information about the device.
First of all, it’s like the device will be called the “Pixel Buds A” as the official AndroidTwitter account made this accidental post that was later taken down.
In the now-deleted tweet, the TWS earbuds was shown alongside a Pixel smartphone with a dialog box on its screen. In the tweet, the name of the device was confirmed to being Pixel Buds A and it has a Fast Pair which uses Bluetooth Low Energy and device’s location to find compatible Bluetooth devices within its range and allow them to connect to the Bluetooth device with ease.
Another cool thing about the so-called Fast Pair is the fact that all connected Bluetooth accessories will be registered to your Google account which can be easily synced up with your Android devices which have been connected to that Google account.
In short, the Google digital ecosystem is a good thing to have where you have all your profiles and devices well connected in a place. There is in fact the Find My Device feature which let you find lost Bluetooth device.
While many assumed that the tweet was made by accident because of the fact that it was deleted almost immediately afterward, the reality is that Google is a massive company and decisions go through different and longer routes before they make it to the public and definitely, this might just be a tease to create some internet buzz around the device.
However, there are reports that the device could be released as soon as the next Google I/O annual event which will be later on this month.
The Pixel Buds A will come in multiple colors including green (with a white case), so if you don’t like the white version in the image above, don’t fret.
Considering Google used the phrase “Pixel Buds A-Series”, it is safe to say that this will be the first of a line of affordable pair of earbuds from Google just as the Pixel 3A launched as the first of Google’s affordable Pixel smartphone line
