After celebrating its 7th year of existence and success, Whatsapp had finally announced its plan to discontinue its application on Nokia and Blackberry platforms (The Devices running those company’s Operating Systems. Not Windows and Android)
This discontinuation includes BlackBerry10 OS which is the newest trend on the BB platform worldwide. Blackberry itself eschewed the Operating System she building its latest flagship which is an Android powered Priv slider phone so Whatsapp could be justified for actually taking off its app off the platform just as its maker is leaving it.
The announcement for the relocation also include the Nokia S40 and S60 symbian platforms as well as android 2.2 and windows phone 7.1 Operating systems. The discontinuation will likely put out many of those using the old Nokia phones majorly in developing g countries to “Why!” but its a decision by the company’s board.
Whatsapp could be telling all to go get a better device ranging from Android, Windows and iPhone.
