US President, Donald Trump has made it known that the country will not pay for the security costs of both Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle after they were officially confirmed to have moved to live in California.
The move happened just before the deadline of border closure between Canada and the US due to the Coronavirus pandemic while the couple apparently flew in to the country in a private jet to Los Angeles from Canada.
The couple had been living in Canada for several months and have earlier this year decided to step down from their royal duties and continue with their normal lives which caused a lot of outrage by both British and American media who blamed the prince of being too weak while others blamed the wife for always causing division wherever she goes.
“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom,” Trump tweeted.
“It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!”
It’s worth noting that Meghan Markle grew up in Los Angeles where here her mother Doria Ragland still lives in.
Professionally, she was an actress for sometimes and had a network of friends in the industry with which she could restart her career.
A Disney announcement on Thursday has it that she will be narrating a new film about a family of African elephants. While Prince Harry is known to be an activist for climate change and had reportedly being caught in a hoax telephone call recently where he was seen as attacking Donald Trump for his stance on the climate change.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will formally step back from royal duties on March 31 while the Queen of England had made it known both will not be partaking in any royal ceremony as their titles are being taken away.
