The ending parts of Donald Trump‘s presidency was met with some chaotic situations which would probably go down in history as one of the most bizarre administrations in the United States.
First a bunch of so-called “MAGA supporters” stomped the US Capitol building leading to the death of a number of individuals and also the former president losing his most powerful medium of communication to his audience – Twitter and his Facebook accounts.
While Trump might contest again for President in the next election is under “maybe” but Twitter’s execs have come out to make claims that even if he runs for office once again by 2024, they still will not allow him.
This was a statement made by Twitter CFO Ned Segal during a section at CNBC’s Squawk Box
“The way our policies work, when you’re removed from the platform, you’re removed from the platform, whether you’re a commentator, you’re a CFO or you are a former or current public official,” Segal said of a potential Trump return.
“Our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that we have to remove them from the service and our policies don’t allow people to come back.” He added.
Donald Trump is known for his provocative tweets which was made him a truly polarizing figure. Despite the heat, his audience on the platform continued to grow in millions. Trump uses his Twitter account as a way of directly messaging his followers rather than using the traditional method of press release and media outlets.

Because of this, some people in the country felt alienated because of the fact that the president’s stance sounds one-sided while the other side is constantly opposing.
The ban came at the heights of the riot that led to the Capitol building being bombarded by thousands of individuals alleged to being Trump supporters. His tweets were said to be risky and could incite violence which ultimately led to his account being banned from Twitter while Facebook did the same.
One prominent thing was a constant disagreement between the former US President and Twitter especially during the pandemic when he would publish tweets about new developments about the coronavirus but would subsequently get labelled by Twitter as a “Misinformation”.
Trump is still under historic second impeachment trial which if he’s convicted by the Senate could see his chance for ever holding a public office in the future killed. There have been rumors about him running again in 2024 while other rumors stated he’s on the verge of starting his own political party or movement and even a social networking service despite Parler’s current ordeal.
