Even though the Apple car may become a reality in a few years to come, it continues to suffer a number of setbacks – one of which is due to finding the right car manufacturer to partner with apart from the issue of global chip shortage.
The recent one is losing a few engineers who are working on the Apple Car project according to a Bloomberg report.
The engineers that departed aren’t just your regular engineers. In fact, one of them is Eric Rogers who is heading the car’s radar system.
Rogers has now joined a flying-taxi startup, Joby Aviation, Inc. Other important figures that departed from Apple are Alex Clarabut and Stephen Spiteri two of whom are responsible for the project.
The Apple Car project is said to have been bedeviling the company’s engineers and as they leave Apple, the Car project continues to experience more setbacks that make its future highly uncertain.
While the project might be going through a tough time, it might eventually make it to the release.
Even though there isn’t anything really public about the Car project just yet aside from rumors and sad news of engineers quitting their jobs at Apple and switching to startup companies.
