Genesis as we all know makes really great looking vehicles among which is the 2021 G80 which is packed with tons of interesting hardware and gorgeous finishes.

The 2021 Genesis G80 was shown to the world on Sunday and it’s expected to arrive in the US by the second half of the year 2020. The vehicle has lots of interesting offerings as well as a turbocharged engine.

Customers who purchase the car in the US will be able to choose from a 2.5-liter turbo I4 coupled with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque or preferably the 3.5-liter turbo V6 with a much more substantial 375 hp and 391 lb-ft variant. The G80 will also be available with a 210-hp turbodiesel I4, but this engine won’t be coming to the States.

There will also be options to chose from between an All-wheel drive system or just a rear-wheel drive with driver assistance systems also included as part of standard equipment.

Other great features includes the Adaptive Cruise Control system which basically detects and learn your driving style and adjust the car’s behavior accordingly.

Forward-collision warning and blind-spot assist are also included, as is Genesis’ Highway Driving Assistant, which bundles the adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assist and lane-change tech to make your long-distance commutes much easier.

Interior of the 2021 Genesis G80

The Genesis G80 is indeed a luxurious car as it’s interior can tell us much about the car. The cabin design is high-tech and feature leather finishes which are really elegant and great looking.

Driving in one of those surely puts you up for a lot of fun considering the comfort and then being able to flaunt your style in luxury something which Genesis does best.

While that interior design aesthetics might get to the US, the color schemes are also great and innovative. I’ve always been a long-term admirer of Hyundai, Genesis’ parent company as the former produce great exterior and interior designs of cars which is part of what sets the company aside from others.

And speaking of features, the G80 comes with a big 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a 14.5-inch infotainment system which is placed right atop of the dash.

The multimedia tech supports over-the-air updates and has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in. Drivers can control this via the knurled dial on the center console, with a pad in the middle that supports handwriting recognition.

Another obvious thing you’d notice quickly with the Genesis G80 is the giant Grille on the car something is becoming the norms nowadays with car makers. Grilles seems to be getting enormously bigger. But they didn’t disfigure the G80 at least from a good design point of view unless you do not like Grilles at all for whatever reason.

The G80 features a quad-element headlights which were featured on the G90 models. The sales of the G8 will start in South Korea later this week but nothing much is yet revealed about the pricing and availability on the international market.
