Audi just made an eBike and it costs almost as much as a car at about GB£8,499 based on the A6 Avant e-Tron Concept. The new Audi Electric Mountain Bike Powered by Fantic comes with some outstanding specifications despite the high price tag that comes with it.
According to the German automaker, the design of the e-bike is meant to give it an all-around approach to biking.
It has a great downhill capacity thanks to its wide wheels, off-road tires, and its 80mm suspension.
There’s a 36V 720Wh battery inside the frame, and the 250-watt Brose motor delivers up to 90nm of torque.

Even if you’re able to afford the e-bike, Audi won’t probably sell it to you because it’s making this a limited edition, and those who want it will have to be invited to express their interest via Audi’s official website.
You’ll also find the full specifications of the electric bike right on the page some of which include an aluminum/carbon hybrid frame in three sizes: Öhlins forks and shocks and SRAM gears.
That motor is more powerful than the one in bikes such as the Harley-Davidson Serial 1, which provides assistance up to 25km/h where legal, and should be good for close to 100 miles if you’re not constantly going uphill. It comes with four levels of assistance: Eco, Tour, Sport, and Boost.
The outrageous price of the e-bike meant that Audi isn’t trying to sell this to everyone. Even though that can afford it will still need to be invited first to show an interest in wanting one.
However, if you’re an EV enthusiast, then you can request one from Audi. How soon they will start shipping is unknown but the reservation is already started.
