Samsung is really pushing it’s small smartphone line and the latest among that is the Galaxy AS series. The new Galaxy A20s which is a bit of an upgrade to the original A20 is being launched in India. Some of the key specification of the device includes a large 6.4-Inch display, triple rear camera setup and of course a larger 4,000 mAh battery.
The Design of the Galaxy A20s
Quite a bit had changed in the current version of the Galaxy A20s which now spots a polycarbonate back and a glass front. The device measures 163.3 x 77.5 x 8.0 mm and it weighs around 183 grams. The device’s display is a big 6.4-Inch TFT display that has a HD+ resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels.
Another obvious thing on the front of the device is the presence of the “Infinity-V” notch which houses the f/2.0 aperture selfie camera. As previously mentioned, its display is surrounded with negligible bezels which provide for an appealing front fascia.
And ass for the back of the Galaxy A20s is a glossy design where the fingerprint scanner is placed. Then the “Samsung” branding as well as the triple camera setup.

And speaking of cameras, there is a 13MP main sensor which is paired up with an 8MP ultra wide sensor and then a 5MP depth sensor lens.
Other Specifications of the Galaxy A20s
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC which is expected to be it’s strength. The chipset consists of an Octa-Core CPU and an Adreno 506 GPU. The power capacity of the device is a 4000 mAh battery that supports a 15W fast charging.
As for the Operating System, the Galaxy A20s runs on the Android 9.0 Pie with the Samsung’s One UI skin built on top of it.
Connectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS , bottom mounted USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm jack.
Galaxy A20s Price, Colour, Storage Options and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A20s comes in triple color options which includes Blue, Green and Black. There are also two storage option/variant with different pricing.
- 3GB+32GB: $169 USD (Rs 11,999, ₦ 61,000, R 2,500)
- 4GB+64GB: $197 USD (Rs 13,999, ₦ 71,000, R 2,900)
In additon to the buit in storage, it also supports memory expansion upto 512 GB via a microSD card.
The Galaxy A20s is available for purschase starting today both via online and offline channels.
