RealMe unveiled its Buds Air later on last year but today, the company is announcing yet another device which it calls the Buds Air Neo and we’re expected to see it hitting stores by May 25th. The company had in fact set up a promotional page on it’s official Indian website where it showcased information about the device including the designs and specs.
There are some similarities between the new Buds Air Neo and the older Buds Air meanwhile a quite difference between both devices includes the Air Neo sporting a silver ring which can be noticed around the stem of the earbuds unlike the older Buds Air which misses out on this. Also, the Buds Air Neo features a dual microphone which are not visible which could possibly interpret to the absence of the Environment Noise Cancellation technology (ENC). Below is a quick glance at the images of the earbuds.

The Buds Air Neo will pack 13mm Large Bass Boost Driver and have three color options – White, Red, and Green. The last one appears to be the same shade as Realme Band’s green variant. Aside the design which looks very similar to what we’ve seen on the Apple AirPods 2 and of course, almost every smartphone companies have been copying the AirPods design since day one so it’s no longer a big deal.
The Buds Air Neo is expected to come with a three hours of continuous usage while the casing could last up to 17 hours. The charging port is USB Type-C and also could have support for Wireless charging but that is not certain considering the fact that the Buds Air Neo is a stripped version of the Buds Air itself and as we all know, Lite devices usually lack some basic features spotted on the main device right.

In other aspects of the TWS earbuds, it’s expected to feature a Dual Channel Transmission as well as a Super Low Latency Mode (SLLM – I made that up) which RealMe said would have a 50% lower latency unlike the normal mode. Also, we’re expecting the earbuds to feature Instant Auto Connection which is of course the norm in TWS Earbuds unless you’re stuck in the ancient times that shouldn’t be discussed at all. Control system is expected to be touch controls to answer calls, play/pause/change tracks and even to summon your voice assistant all in one.

Okay enough with the whole spec-list and features, the RealMe Buds Air Neo hasn’t gotten a price tag just yet maybe the company is still deciding on how much (LOL) but for real, we’re expecting the price to be stamped on the device by Monday. Meanwhile a leaked poster revealed that the earbuds will be about US$40 (INR 2,999) which makes it US$13 (INR 1,000) cheaper than the older Buds Air. But you can be rest assured that the official pricing will be announced by May 25th so keep up with the news.
