It’s October and of course this is the time companies gets to launch all what they have against the next year and that is where affordable budget-friendly smartphones like the Oppo Reno Ace comes in which is due to be launched in two days time in China, the 10th of October to be precise.
Just in two days ahead of the big event, Oppo’s vice president, Shen Yiren has revealed what appears to be the key specifications of the up and coming smartphone.

In his post, Yiren confirmed that the device will feature a 90Hz display with 135Hz sampling rate and it’ll run on the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset which is the highest variant of the Chipset currently been produced and also found on high end devices like the Galaxy S10Plus. The Oppo VP also revealed that the Reno Ace will have a 12GB of RAM as well as a massive 256GB of internal storage which uses UFS 3.
Another big reveal about the forthcoming Oppo Reno Ace is that it will come with a dual stereo speakers and will support only an 18W PD as well supports for an 18W Quick Charge as well as a 20W VOOC Flash Charge technology.

Whatever that meant considering the fact that the device’s been reported to come witha 65W SuperVOOC Fast Charging support, we’ll wait until the device gets publicized on Thursday.
It will also have support for Dual-WiFi, as confirmed by Shen Yiren. Rest of the specifications of this custom edition phone will be same as the standard model.

The phone will also come with a VC soaking plate for heat condensation along with composite carbon fiber, multi-layer graphite heat dissipation, which when combined will offer ice-carbon constant cooling system, says the company.
MApart from what VP Yiren had revealed to us, it’s also worth noting that the Oppo Reno Ace GUNDAM Edition is also confirmed to come with a Quad-camera setup at the back of the device which features a bigger 48MP sensor as it’s primary sensor just as we’ll have it on the regular Reno Ace.
And speaking of Gundam, Oppo formed partnership with the Japanese Science Fiction Media Franchise which was created by one Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise that features giant robots with the name “Gundam”; hence the Oppo Reno Ace Gundam special edition.
Even though VP Yiren didn’t reveal the entirety of the Reno Ace’s complete specifications, the phone is said to have passed through TENAA in China which revealed that it has almost everything expected.
As for the display, it’s definitely a phablet with a 6.5-Inch display and then the rear cameras includes the Sony IMX586 48-MP with 13MP, 8MP and 2MP quad camera setup while the device’s front houses a teardrop notch with a single 16MP camera sensor.
