Oppo never failed to impress as the company unveils two of its flagship smartphones for the year 2020, the Find X2 and Find X2 pro. You might have heard about the Find X which was released last year and was an amazing smartphone and was one of first smartphone with the mechanical cameras. As if that wasn’t enough, OPPO also revealed its Smartwatch too which comes packed up with tons of features that makes it amazing and interesting.
Back to the Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro, the device this time around doesn’t have a mechanical camera but a hole-punch on the display and features a high-end 120Hz refresh rate as well as the Snapdragon 865 chipset. The 65W fast charging technology also suoerboost the battery up in just a limited amount of time.
That apart, the Find X2 also has a superb camera experience which includes a 48MP triple rear setup. What’s even more interesting is the casing which comes in both leather and ceramics build which is really premium for high-class users.

And speaking of the spec sheet of both devices, the Find X2 Pro features a large 6.7-inch display as well as a 1080 X 3168 pixels with Quad HD+ resolution which gives the device a tall aspect ratio of 21:9. It also has an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The OPPO Find X2 series come with Ultra Video Steady Pro, 10-bit Live HDR video recording, Ultra Night Mode 3.0 and 4K video recording.
Powering up the devices is the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset with a large 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The devices also has the UFS 3.0 storage.
The Find X2 has 256 GB storage whereas the Pro model has 512 GB of storage. Both devices are loaded with ColorOS 7.1 based Android 1O OS. The 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology can fast charger Find X2’s 4,200mAh battery and Find X2 Pro’s 4,260mAh battery in only 38 minutes.
Other iinteresting features of the device includes the support for IP54 rated splash proof as well as the Gorilla Glass 6 covering the device from scratches and dusts. There I also the leather and ceramics version of the devices.
The latter weighs 200 grams and has 165.2 x 74.8 x 8.8mm dimensions. The leather model weighs 207 grams and 165.2 x 74.8 x 9.5mm. The devices has support for the 5G network as well as other features like: Z- dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB-C, Z-axis motor (Find X2), x-axis motor (Find X2 Pro) and dual stereo speakers.
Sorry to disappoint but there won’t be support for the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot and wireless charging which is really a big trade-off considering the fact that the Galaxy S20 offers at least wireless charging which is becoming very common these days and part of what makes smartphones more interesting.
Release date and price of the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 pro
This is a premium device so we’d expect the price point to be in the highprice as its priced to start from as high as $1,131 (NG₦ 415,100 /SAR 17, 728) for the Find X2 while the higher version the Find X2 Pro is expected to be as high as $1,357 (NG₦496,000 / SAR 21,270). As for the leather model, it comes in orange color while the ceramics edition is black. Availability should start during the early weeks of the second quarters 2020.
