A couple of months back, the OnePlus 10 Pro was released but it was only based in China, the company has made a global release with the device going to different markets like Indian, European, and North American smartphone markets.
The device has some really cool and interesting features that make it outstanding compared to competitors. As for the design of the device, it borrowed its aesthetics from Samsung’s previous Galaxy S21 Ultra.
I personally like the metal camera housing that blends with the device’s frame on the right side of the device. The back has a matte finish with the latest Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
The OnePlus 10 Pro weighs about 200.5grams and the device’s dimension is about 163 x 73.9 x 8.5mm. Other cool features of the device include its big 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a blazing fast 120Hz refresh rate that can drop significantly to as low as just 1Hz depending on what you are doing with the device.

The display resolution is 3216 x 1440 pixels which makes it a QHD+ and based on its size, it has a 525 PPO, a hole-punch camera cutout at the top-hand corner of the display with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
As for the display performance, you get a bright 1300 nits of peak brightness and a 92.7% screen-to-body ratio and the display is also protected using the Gorilla Glass Victus just as the back.
Powering the OnePlus 10 Pro is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with a fast LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 internal storage. The operating system is based on the current Android 12 update with the OxygenOS 12.1 being the user interface as opposed to the first China-only version that had ColorOS.
The device also sports a big 5,000mAh battery and users in North America will get the blazing-fast 65W charger out of the box. That is a big flex on popular brands such as Samsung and Apple that have decided to yank off charging bricks from their device boxes.
In Europe and India, customers will also get the faster 80W SuperVOOC power brick as well. The device also offers support for the blazing-fast 50W AirVOOC fast wireless charging technology and there is support for reverse wireless charging.
OnePlus 10 Pro is certainly one of the most exciting smartphones to be released in the year 2022 so far and that’s a big statement considering the number of devices that are still on the way.
Other features of the smartphone include 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
In the camera department, OnePlus took a different approach toward the camera design this time around as mentioned above. And as for the camera setup, you get a triple rear sensor with the primary sensor being a 48MP Sony IMX789 camera with optic image stabilization or OIS. Then there is another 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with a whopping 150-degree ultra-wide capability and another 8MP 3.3x telephoto zoom camera also with OIS.
At the front, there is a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor tucked within the device’s hole punch sensor and it’s co-engineered by Hasselblad with features like Hasselblad Natural Color Optimization 2.0, XPan Mode, and many more.
