The Galaxy S20 Series will be announced pretty soon and the high-end Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to come with the much larger 108MP camera which will have the ISOCELL Bright HMX Sensor. This will feature a 9-in-1 pixel binning technology which Samsung has already patented and branded to be called Nonacell which is also in line with Tetracell that the company uses to brand its version of the Quad-Bayer sensors.

There have been leaks upon leaks throughout the web detailing what the device might look like. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to also have a periscope camera which will reach as high as “100x space zoom” as they call it.

What this means is that it’s capable of super getting objects far closer while retaining most details by using some in-built technology to modify the subject but the zoom is likely to be 10x optical. It will have a 48MP or 64MP sensor and periscope optics for the telephoto module.

The 108MP is going to be the primary sensor considering the size. We last saw that on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 with it’s Penta rear camera setup. But what’s more advantageous about this is that it will produce images with over one hundred megapixels if used in great lighting or other nicer situations which is more better than the Xiaomi that produces just 27MP.

The setup is also expected to have a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a ToF sensor. This whole ensemble will be packed in a massive rectangle, which will be half as wide as the whole handset.

When the device will be released we’ll get to know what Samsung has in stock for us. Meanwhile this is definitely going to be another massive leap forward from the previous device which will further improve Samsung’s stance in the new decade.
