Xiaomi has launched the Momoda SMart Head Massager under the Youpin crowdfunding platform. This is basically a gadget that which uses 3D airbags to surround the head, neck and eye and gives the user an enjoyable one-stop massage experience for multiple parts all at once.
The device carries the US$87 (CNY 599) price tag and has been called the three-in-one massage helmet. Meanwhile the price is expected to rise after the crowdfunding period is over to about US$116 (CNY 799). The design of the helmet looks like the Cerebro helmet used by Professor X in the X Men movie franchise.
The Momoda smart head massager works through special mechanisms built into the device to all act as one. For example, for the head, it has a breathing air pressure massage frequency which meets with the comfort of the human body while the 7 convex silicone massage head presses on the main acupoints of the head such as Bihui acupoint and Tongtian acupoint to stimulate the brain and to also circulate blood in the head better and relax the scalp.
While the eyes uses air pressure for gentle massage with assisted large-area temperature heating system at about 40 degree Celsius which isn’t too much for the body giving comfort and warm sensation.

For the neck, the 3D airbag is inflated and deflated while pressing the neck through 2 massage bumps, up to 200 times of high-frequency vibration, 40℃ graphene hot compress, effectively dissipate the tension and fatigue of the cervical muscles, and relax the neck Muscles to prevent the “occupational syndrome” of facing the computer for a long time.
Aside that, it also works with the XiaoAI’s voice control and works with the MIJIA app whereby one can easily pick from 4 modes in order to adjust the massage time, airbag pressure and the heat temperature.
There is also the ability to adjust tightness through two knobs and can be adjusted up or down by 30mm or front/rear can be done by 48mm all which is meant to help take the shape of your head.
It is powered by a powerful 24500,mAh battery which can reach 100% in about 2.5 hours. Well the time might sound alot but for a device you don’t get to use every seconds compared to a smartphone, then this might not be a bad idea. Other interesting specs it sports includes Bluetooth connectivity as well as offering 3D surround sound music through it’s in-ear buds.
