Remember the Boom Sound effect that was featured in the last year’s LG G7 ThinQ, the next LG G8 device which we expect to see in the next CES coming up just in less than a week, will feature another amazing sound quality which the company calls the Sound on Display and Samsung will definitely do the same.
So what is the Sound on Display by the way, this is sort of a new technology being used on recent LG devices. For example, the LG TV where the speaker is hidden right behind the screen of the device. So this technology would likely be seen on the Samsung Galaxy device as well.
So the with Samsung and LG both bringing on the Sound on Display to their mobile devices, there is high chance that we’ll be experiencing some audio upgrade of Android smartphones this season. Although @OnLeaks a Twitter leak influencer claimed the LG G8 might be the only device which will have the Sound on Display feature.
As we’ve seen with the LG G7 ThinQ which is more of a really great multimedia device, and considering the fact that LG loves multimedia and implements this features n it’s mobile device, we might be expecting a really amazing “audio chamber” device when the LG G8 (most likely with the ThinQ branding) gets introduced at the CES 2019.

The way LG will come up with the design of the Sound on Display is still unknown to us whether they will simply be tucked within the device right behind the display or only the earpiece will be used for sounds. But whatever it is LG is designing, we will see it next week.
According to my sources, #LGG8 will feature Sound on Display (SoD) technology…
