Even though Huawei seems to now be confined to China alone due to the absence of the Google Play Service which is the heartbeat of many smartphones that are generally used worldwide, the company won’t stop at making smartphones as it sets to launch the next smartphone in the Nova Series.
The device is said to be called the Nova 5z but its reported to not be the only Nova smartphone Huawei is working on. The official Huawei Weibo account teased that the Nova 5 Pro will have a Jackson Yee limited edition next month as well.

Just in case you wonder who Jackson Yee is by the way, he’s a Chinese Singer, dancer and actor and he’s also a member of the Chinese boy band, TFBoys. The teaser poster was shown to have the Nova 5 Pro Jackson Yee Limited Edition which will come in purple box with the Signer’s signature well engraved at the top of it and the time of the arrival is set to be November even though the exact date is yet unknown.
The limited-edition phone should come with special gifts not found in the standard version such as a signed case and memorabilia. The caption also hints at a ticket to a concert.

Spec-wise, the Nova 5 Pro Jackson Yee Limited Edition should be the same as the standard version just with the Jackson Yee’s signature and all those celebrity stuff you know.
But normally, the device would have a 6.39-Inch display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolutions and then a waterdrop notch at the top of it. Surprisingly, this device will have an OLED Panel as well as an in-display Fingerprint scanner. It’s also running on the Kirin 980 processor which has 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage.

There are four cameras on the back of the phone – a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2Mp depth sensor. It also has a 32MP selfie camera. Other features include a 3500mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast wired charging, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
But well, the features doesn’t add up since we cannot buy these devices and even if you force yourself to buying one, You’re then limited to the AOSP which isn’t Google maintained or licensed. This had in fact affected Huawei’s billions and it’s potentials of reaching the top number one as the largest smartphone maker all over the world as the current Google support license expires just in a matter of few weeks, this might be the end of Huawei that we know and love.
