Even though Huawei doesn’t have a global impact since it was sanctioned by the US government, the company never stopped releasing great products, and one of its upcoming devices is its Watch 3 Pro (2022) which is expected to be released alongside the company’s proprietary operating system Harmony OS 3 update as well as the company’s tablet, the 11-inch MatePad Pro by July 27th.
The company teased the upcoming product on its official Weibo account where the outlook of the device was seen. The Watch 3 Pro moniker was also used back in 2021 but the difference with the 2022 variant might not be very significant.
Usually, Huawei announces its premium-tier smartwatch series every year and while many were expecting the 2022 variant to simple be the Huawei Watch 4 Pro, the company simply slapped the year to the back of the previous version’s name hence, the Watch 3 Pro (2022).
According to ITHome, the Chinese technology news media outlet reports that the new Huawei WATCH 3 Pro (2022) is to feature Huawei’s own self-developed standalone watch navigation system that enables bikers and runners in the city to keep track of where they are currently and where they are heading on the watch’s display itself independently.

The device is also expected to offer support for ECG functionalities which will allow users to easily and accurately track down their current health statuses such as their heart rate and blood pressure.
The previous model was released back in June 2021 with premium hardware including a glass front, ceramic back, and titanium metal frame. The watch is 5 ATM water-resistant despite being lightweight compared to those from competitors.
Being a full-blown smartwatch, the previous Watch 3 Pro (2021) had support for eSIM making it completely independent from your smartphone. The hardware specification of the previous model included a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 pixels.
As for storage, the device had 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while running the company’s own HarmonyOS 2.0.
The new Huawei WATCH 3 Pro (2022) launch event will be held on July 27th Wednesday at 7:30 pm Beijing Time (GMT +8) / 5 pm New Delhi Time (GMT +5:30) and 12:30 pm London Time (GMT +1).
