Huawei is still the second-biggest foldable smartphone maker on the globe and despite issues with the western government, the Chinese tech giant continues to invent new hardware one of which is the newly rumored P50 Pocket flip smartphone.
This isn’t the first time we’re hearing about Huawei trying something new with its foldable smartphone lineup.

As mentioned earlier, the so-called Huawei P50 Pocket is meant to follow in the trail of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 or even the Motorola Razr Fold.
The alleged Huawei P50 Pocket was also featured in a pictorial with Chinese actress and singer Guan Xiaotong.

Based on the picture details shared, the device has a circular external display at the back of the device that can be used to display quick notifications, time, and battery percent. It can in fact serve as a viewfinder for taking pictures with the device while it’s closed.
According to another revelation made by Engadget Chinese, the device has its fingerprint reader along the edges of the device while the external display is placed close to the camera sensors.
The version in the Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot is gold with some sort of leafy pattern, but Huawei’s teaser shows that it will also come in a silver variant with a diamond plaid pattern.
Huawei is said to be planning a Dec. 23rd announcement of the P50 Pocket smartphone – in China of course and it’s going to be another expensive gadget relative to its current Mate X2 foldable smartphone.
