The Chinese tech giant is rolling out a big update for it’s current flagship, the P40 series which now adds picture-in-picture preview frame in the viewfinder when the zoom level is set to 15x or higher. The update also adds Petal Search functionality to the device.

The first update which includes the Picture-in-picture mode was first rolled out for the Chinese variant of the device last month but now making it globally while the Petal Search stands as a newer feature and the P40 series is the first to receive the feature via the software update.

The Petal Search is simply a remodeled Huawei Search which allows you to search up your favorite applications, perform instant searches as well as access daily weather reports, live sports and newsfeed. You can also use it to look up related Videos, News and image categories.

How to update your P40

Go to the settings application and do the following
