Honor unveiled the Honor X10 yesterday May 20th, and the company’s Business Unit President Zhao Ming had announced in an interview that the company will soon launch other models in their X-Series which will just be the X10 Pro and XPro Plus according to other reports we got over the internet.

Zhao Ming did the online interview right after the announcement of the Honor X10 and made it known that we should be expecting other models in the new series. When talking more in depth regarding the “X Series” and “Play Series”, he made it clear that the update cycle related to both aforementioned series of smartphones have already been decided upon clearing out that the “X Series” is a completely different versions from the known Honor 9X and 9X Pro with the “X” moniker being at the front of the device’s numbering rather than the back as we’ve seen before.
Also, the new line-up which is stated from the Honor X10 will then be joined by others in the series. Rather, a similar strategy is being considered for the Honor V series, N series, and Play series as well. Zhao Ming hinted at a possible existence and future launch of the X10 Pro or X10 Plus by giving an example of the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro. In other words, confirming the existence of a more premium entry that will launch at a later date.
And Honor as we know it is a really good division of Huawei which makes really premium-tier mid-range smartphones with interesting specifications. One thing I don’t like about Honor’s devices is the screen but they now include FHD+ resolution despite still being IPS LCD displays. Initially, the naming got me confused as to whether there was a misspelling somewhere but a quick look over the internet confirmed that the “X” moniker now comes before the brand itself.
