Yesterday was about iOS 15.2 and today’s about the watchOS and tvOS both getting updated.
Anyone with an Apple Watch Series 3 and above or Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD can now download the updates and get the new interesting features bundled with each software.
What’s new about watchOS 8.3 update
Apple’s release notes for the updated WatchOS 8.3 show a number of important fixes especially in the Mindfulness app that lets the watch send notifications during an active mindfulness session.
Another interesting update is the fact that Apple Watch will now let you use the Apple Music Voice Plan, which is the company’s newest subscription service for its music streaming service.

With this subscription, you’ll be getting access to a number of interesting features including songs, playlists, and stations all via Siri. The subscription starts at US$4.99/month.
There is also App privacy report feature from which you can see details of your apps’ activity and the data they collect on your smart watch.
Another cool feature that’s made it to the WatchOS 8.3 is the Assistive Touch which is now available on both the Watch Series 4 and 5. This works by using hand gestures to control your smartwatch.
What’s new about tvOS 15.2 update
As for the tvOS 15.2 update, what you’ll be getting include enhanced performance and stability improvements.
The new update will offer Photo Memories, a new interactive interface for Photos app.
Photos Memories give you a new way to see your photos on your TV. You can now choose new animations, transition styles, and collages for your photos.
Apple Music users will hear songs based on expert recommendations and on what is displayed in their images and videos.
Other interesting update that comes with the new tvOS 15.2 is the inclusion of a Store from where you can browse, rent, or just purchase movies and TV series.
You’ll also be getting the new Apple Music Voice Plan on your Apple TV as well as a number of minor tweaks here and there such as the following:
- More langauge support for Siri: Dutch and French are now supported in Belgium, as is Russian in Russia, and French, German, and Italian in Switzerland.
- Apple is adding aerial panoramas of Iceland and Scotland as new screen savers.
