The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a really awesome smartphone with which Samsung had taken a newer dimension to ensure every one no matter their line of work have access to a smartphone that can serve them no matter what.
What’s even interesting about the Galaxy XCover Pro is the fact that you can swap it’s 4,050 mAh battery to another while it’s powered with a 15W fast charging technology. For about $499, you can get one later on this year as Samsung claims to be working with Verizon to bring the device to the US.
While only US is where it’s coming to, we don’t know if the rugged smartphone will be available in other countries around the world like Nigeria, South Africa, Philippines, India and so forth. Meanwhile it’s worth mentioning that the 6.3-Inches display on the smartphone has a hole-punch which houses it’s 13MP front facing camera while the slightly thick device is powered by a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.
It’s specifications might appear mid-range though but that doesn’t stop the fact that the device is targeted at a different audience, industrial workers. Samsung claims the device is certified IP 68 making it water and dust resistant. It’s also can adapt to whatever harsh condition you put it through such as temperature or humidity.
Another sweet spot about the Galaxy XCover Pro is that it has a two programmable buttons which you can configure for certain tasks like say the Microsoft Walkie Talkie feature which will enhance easier communication between factory workers.
