There have been endless news about Samsung coming up with an update to it’s previous Galaxy Fold smartphone even though we had the Galaxy Z Flip, the company officially announced a Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G during it’s Galaxy Unpacked event back in August 5th and then earlier this week, the TENNA published photos of the device when it passed certification in China and there is even a video on TikTok about the device for real. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 leaks hints in about what to expect about the device.
In the video, hthe Galaxy Z Fold 2 can be seen in the Mystic Black color. Although the video only lasted for about 15 seconds, there was a little bit of information that could be seen on the device which includes the lock screen then the dialer app as well as ways of capturing pictures and videos through the camera application.
There’s also a brief glance at a settings page which reveals that users will be able to choose between setting the display at 60Hz or 120Hz for maximum smoothness.

The origin of the leak seems to have been from China and suggestion states it could be from Chinese telecom regulator themselves or a factory worker but either way, it’s interesting to finally see the device in it’s entire majesty.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features the One UI 2.5 skin which is built on top of the Android 10 OS with gestures support and custom launcher application. Pre-order starts next month September 1st and this leak brings us closer to what we could exect when the device finally lands in our hands.
