Zaxk Snyder directed the Justice League movie back in 2017 and he announced to be releasing his fabled version of the movie titled the Snyder Cut by 2021 on HBO Max. The information was relayed to the general public by both Snyder himself and a cast in the movie, Henry Cavill who starred as the”Superman” during a live commentary of Man of Steel on social media platform, Vero.
“I want to thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of supporting artists and allowing their true visions to be realized,” Snyder said. “Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the #SnyderCut movement for making this a reality.”
The movie sometimes is seen as a mimic of the Avengers which brings about the big names in the DC Movie universe such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg and of course the Superman in their quest to save the universe. The movie was initially tipped to be directed by Zack Snyder who later stepped down from the role for Joss Whedon. Meanwhile fans as well as stars in the movies such as Gal Gadot who played the Wonder Woman role as well as Ben Affleck who played the role of the Batman have all been clamoring for the release of the Snyder’s version of the movie.
Snyder in fact released two images of his own version of the movie on Vero early January which includes a photograph of The Atom – a character cut in Whedon’s Justice League. He posted a picture of Alfred working in the Batcave but “At the abandon Wayne aerospace hanger” wrote Snyder at the time.

The release of the Snyder Cut could either be as a four-hour movie or a six-part TV Series according to Hollywood Reporter but the movie will reportedly have a new score, cut and visual effects using the original Post-production crew and could cost about US$20 Million to US$30 Million to produce according to Hollywood Reporter meanwhile HBO Max said none of those reported details are confirmed, while Warner Bros. didn’t immediately respond.
