Smartphones are getting bigger every year but we can’t say the size have plateaued because Huawei back in 2018 strectehed smartphone’size when it released the Huawei Mate 20x which had a really giant display of 7.2-Inch yet fit quite well into the hands although it was very obvious when put into the pocket.
But now Xiaomi wants to make an even bigger larger variant of its flagship, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro which both have an already big 6.67-inch display which seems to now be the born in smartphone displays.
The company released the BLACK Shark 3 Pro with a large 7.1-inch display. But rumor has it that Xiaomi wants to incorporate that large display on its Mi 10 variant. This unconfirmed info was gotten from Digital Chat Stations and a Weibo post shared showed the oversized Mi 10S picture which is said to be released towards the second half of the year.

While this isn’t an official statement from the company, do not be surprised if the rumor becomes official and its not going to be first time the company will be doing this and others have tried it.

The good thing is that this may be the first Xiaomi phone with a 1440 resolution if it uses the same display as the Black Shark 3 Pro which has a 1440 x 3120 resolution.
With that kind of screen, the device will have a required larger battery capacity as well as other interesting specifications all because its a premium smartphones. The most important thing is that the rumored Mi 10S might come with the up and coming Snapdragon 865+ which Qualcomm has scheduled to launch later by the second half of the year.
Other interesting thing will be the battery. While it might come with a big 5000mAh or 4780mAh battery considering the display size and even the largest Galaxy S20 Ultra has a gigantic 5000mAh battery within it.
If I should compare the device with the previous Mate 20x, you’ll remember that both the Mate 20 Pro and the Mate 20X aren’t so close because the latter has some trimmed down feature because Huawei was trying to make it serve the purpose of inexpensive high-end smartphone for gaming and media consumption.
