News about Twitter Space have been around the internet for a while now and the social micro-blogging platform recently announced in a blog post that its opening its Spaces feature to all users who have a minimum of 600 followers.
For the records, the Space is an audio-based voice chat feature which allows a host to stream voice chats with other Twitter users and with that, audience members can then chose to either listen or just make this as part of the conversation.
There is also the “Ticketed Spaces” which allows Space hosts to monetize their Spaces for a monetary fee and a limited group of users will be able to test the Ticketed Spaces feature in the next coming months according the company’s statement.

Co-hosted Spaces, better live captioning, and better access to Spaces via a profile icon on a Twitter feed are all coming to Spaces in the future.
The Twitter Space is like a clone of Clubhouse and that’s not a news any longer as Facebook is reportedly working on making its own audio-based conversation channel too.
The overwhelming popularity of Clubhouse during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted different social networking companies to be planning on incorporating the same feature within their platforms.
Here’s what Twitter has to say about Spaces:
You’ve always followed people for their Tweets, now Spaces lets you hear their voices and talk about what’s happening now and what’s most important to you – live. From Tweeting to talking, reading to listening, Spaces encourages and unlocks real, open conversations on Twitter with the authenticity and nuance, depth and power only the human voice can bring.
Ongoing Spaces appear at the top of your feed in a purple bubble, among Twitter Fleets. To create a Space, users can just tap on the Tweet button and tap the Spaces icon. If you don’t see the icon, the Spaces feature may not be available to you just yet.
