Apple’s online-only event will be Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. PT, which is 1 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. BST and Sept. 15 at 3 a.m. AEST. and will be streamed on the company’s official website even though you might be able to find other channels to stream the event live.
This is the time we’ll finally get to see the next-gen iPhone 13 series which has been making a lot of headlines over the last few months. The device which many experts think won’t really be too much different from the existing iPhone 12 series will sport some minor design tweaks here and there as well as sporting a better camera system and a high refresh rate on an LTPO display but aside from those, it’s still going to be the same familiar iPhone from a year ago.
But the iPhone 13 series won’t be the only device that will debut during this event as the tech giant will also debut it’s Watch Series 7 with some improvements while retaining the same design language.
The event which is set to be September 14th or next week Tuesday will be the time we’ll officially have a better glimpse of what Apple has been up to over the last 10 months since the release of the current iPhone 12 series.

This will also be a virtual event because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The devices will all carry the new firmware update from the company and while there hasn’t been anything official in terms of features and expectations of these devices, the iPhone 13 series as mentioned earlier will come with a smaller bezel according to rumors
And the anticipation of the device is through the roof already as Decluttr – a device recycler and reseller firm made it known during a survey it conducted found that about 53% of its respondents planned to buy the new iPhone.
The company is currently doing good on the market after seeing a 17% increase in sales compared to the previous year all of which is making the company its highest recorded revenue and profit ever.
“It is not far from any of our minds that this result caps off the most challenging year any of us can remember,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a call with investors after posting the company’s financial results. “It is an understatement to say that the challenges it posed to Apple as a business paled in comparison to the challenges it posed to Apple as a community of individuals, to employees, to their families, and to the communities we live in and love to call home.”
“These results show the central role that our products played in helping our users respond to these challenges,” Cook added.
Despite the catastrophic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world economy which has obviously slowed down the production of device hardware across the globe, this has also affected other big tech such as Samsung, Microsoft, and even Sony – also leading to the conduction of virtual events instead of physical ones.
Due to the loss of jobs and a bad economy, it was presumed that most people might want to hold on to the little money they have which could leave out the purchase of high-end devices such as the iPhone or the Galaxy S series all of which are within the US$1000 price range.
But Apple is actually doing well on the market and other smartphone brands like Xiaomi, and Samsung are also doing well. The growth for Apple is expected to continue this year as well especially as more momentum builds up over the release of the iPhone 13 series in less than a week.
Away from the iPhone, other things we may see during the Sept. 14th event include a new Mac computer with an upgraded chip as well as a new iPad. All devices should go on sale later on this month or the beginning of next month.
