Still, on Xiaomi, the company recently announced its powerful Mi 100W Wireless Charging Stand which is able to charge up some smartphones in under 28 minutes but there are more devices from the Chinese tech giant such as the Redmi 10 with numerous hints and leaks already circulating across the internet.
Just this past week, some information about the device was revealed by a retailer and then Xiaomi “accidentally” announced the device via its official blog. I quoted the “accidental” announcement because the blog has bow been deleted even though media site XDA Developers was able to get a grasp of the story before it was taken down.
As we all know, the Redmi sub-brand is the company Xiaomi uses to release amazing yet budget-friendly devices such as the most talked-about Redmi Note 10 Pro with its mouth-watering price tag despite its unending list of cool specs and features.
Leaked specs of the Redmi 10
The leaked information about the Redmi 10 includes the dimension of the display which is expected to be a 6.5-inch display with an LCD panel and 2400 x 1080 pixels. It’s also expected to feature the AdaptiveSync refresh rate which can switch between 30Hz up to 90Hz depending on the kind of content being consumed by the user.

You get a Gorilla Glass 3 as protection for the screen with a polycarbonate body just like the Redmi Note 10 models. The device’s overall dimension is about 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92 mm and weighs about 181 grams. Color options range from Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue.
Away from the design and to the hardware components, the Redmi 10 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
As for the connectivity, you get dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Now to the camera department, there will be a quad-rear setup which will include a big 50MP primary sensor and then an 8MP ultra-wide secondary sensor, a smaller 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor while the front-facing selfie-camera will be housed in a hole-punch cut-out and it’ll be an 8MP sensor as well.
There will be support for a MicroSD card slot, it will feature dual stereo speakers and have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It’ll also run the MiUI 12.5 based on the current Android 11 out of the box with a 5,000mAh battery that can charge at 18W while Xiaomi will generous enough to include a 22.5W charger in the box. It can also do reverse charging at 9W which isn’t bad at all.
Redmi 10 Price and Availability
Depending on where the device will be sold when it’s finally released, it will come with different configurations such as the following:
- 4GB + 64GB
- 4GB + 128GB
- 6GB + 128GB
But in terms of the price point, there’s nothing yet about the device even though we expect the device to make its debut later this Spring as different OEMs often release their devices around this period of the year.
