Before the year run out, UK will open its own motorways to self-driven trucks under new plans to speed up deliveries and end traffic congestion in the country. Based on a report gotten from The Times, Chancellor George Osborne will be the one who will confirm any financial balances for the project which could see about 10 truck convoys or lorries based on British English.

Based on points made in reports, a stretch of the M6 motorway near Carlisle has been seen as a likely place for the self driven car test out.
On this quieter part of the UK’s major road network, a driver can lead a “platoon” of autonomous trucks without having to navigate various entry and exit points.

It isn’t known which vehicle will be tested on British roads, Daimler’s autonomous truck is suggested to be the pointed at vehicle. The company which had driven an augmented Mercedes-Benz Actros while in Germany’s Autobahn 8 had also received full authorities to teat those cara in US roads.

The government of United Kingdoms is trying complete the stretches of smart roads. Jaguar Land Rover, Huawei and Vodafone have all joined some UK universities to test a number if self driving car technologies which also includes LTE, Wi-Fi, LTE-V and DSRC. Another project in West Yorkshire uses infrared cameras to monitor traffic levels and introduce variable speed limits to help keep vehicles moving.
