One of the cool features the new EMUI 11 is bringing to devices that supports them includes a much faster experience and a well tweaked-out user interface which includes Magazine Style UI layout. There is also news about the inclusion of the Morandi Colors, Dark Mode, Golden Icons, new animation to buttress it up and most importantly a much more better security system.
The new updates are based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) which Huawei now uses to create an entirely different system that is distinct from other Android OS you find in devices such as those from fellow Chinese brands like Xiaomi or Oppo for example.
During the Huawei Developer Conference 2020 held back in September where the company also gave an insight about the progress of the HarmonyOS which is expected to power an Hauwei smartphone starting from this year on-ward.
The EMUI 11 will now be available for a selected number of devices although there is no official confirmation about these devices just yet but report has it that majority of the Huawei and Honor devices which falls within the high-end category as well as recently released smartphones will have support for the new updates.

Also do note that the update will be rolled out in batches which means when its finally out, some region might get it first before others do. And remember to head to the Software Update section in the Settings application of your Hauwei to check if you have an update on the wait.
