When Tesla Cybertruck was announced back in 2019, it made headlines and while a lot of people are already anticipating the release of the vehicle, only a little information has been released about it.
The latest is that the production of the truck is slated to commence in 2022 and will debut with a four-motor variant.
According to the company’s CEO Elon Musk via a Twitter post, he stated that the high-end model will offer independent and fast response torque control on each wheel.
Musk also added that the Cybertruck will have both front and rear-wheel steering even though the world’s richest CEO once stated that the Cybertruck will offer rear-wheel steering which will enable the “crab walk” feature notable on the Hummer EV.

But the Tesla Cybertruck will not be the only EV to feature the front and rear motor system – other future EVs with this feature include Nissa 4-4orce.
Back in November, specifications and even the pricing of the Cybertruck were pulled down from the truck’s landing page back in October.
Potential owners of the Cybertruck had to book a reservation with a refundable US$100 deposit while being able to configure their order.
However, it seems you’ll likely have to wait longer if you want a two-motor version.
