Owners of the Galaxy Z Flip 4G and 5G are now getting Android 12-based One UI 4 stable version in Canada after users in the United States were served their own updates.
The new firmware update for the original Galaxy Z Flip is currently available on carriers such as Rogers, Bell Mobile, Telus, and Videotron with the model numbers F700WVLU4FULA (for the 4G models) and F707WVLU2EUL9 (for 5G models).
Both device variants will be getting the next-gen Android 12 with One UI 4 with December 2021 Android security patch. That might not be great news considering the fact that a whole month has passed since this period and the release in February.

The South Korean tech giant is also seeding the One UI 4 update for the unlocked Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra models in the United States and they come with the firmware version G98xU1UEU2EVA2 but the security patch level on the Galaxy S20 series are for the month of January 2022.
But enough of that. If you reside in Canada, you can just head to Settings > Software update in order to check whether your update has arrived just in case you are yet to officially receive an update prompt on your phone.
